The Newest from Ben Stein

November 26, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Just recently I stumbled upon a link that took me to Ben Stein’s newest movie, Expelled. As I began to surf through the site I realized that this is a movie about Evolution, but not your typical “We all used to be slime” premise.

This new motion picture, set to hit theaters in February, is all about the fight for Intelligent Design to be taught in the schools along with Evolution. Crazy!!!

The movie has yet to be rated, and I personally have not seen it yet, so this post is not an endorsement of Ben Stein or Expelled. Rather, I want to pass along this info to say “Stay Tuned”. As I find out more about this flick I will be writing updates, and critiques.

Well have to let this one sit in the realm of interesting…for right now

More than Decorations

November 24, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Ever wonder why decorations are so fun to put up? The Christmas tree box gets opened yet again (or you bring the real tree home), ornament creates are dusted off…then you see them… Memories, not decorations!

Watching, and helping, Carrie decorate her parents house has been a lot of fun today. As box after box is open and emptied she lights up! As memories of a great childhood and dozens of Christmas’ are pulled out of the storage containers she dances around the house to the newest MWS Christmas album.

Now as I sit and look at pictures from decades past of her, it’s not her looks or smile that has changed, just how tall she is. I love my excitable, festive, and beautiful wife. She’s great, and today has once again reminded me of just how adorable she is, and how much I adore her.

Until next time…
